stampotique challenge time

this week at stampotique, the challenge was set up by france.  she asked us to create something using three trimmed stamps.  i used more than three once i got started (thankfully i only had to hand cut out three of them!).  i used a mixture of some of my newly released stamps and a few of my older releases.
the stamps i used are: artiste, the cat, the stacked boxes, and heart vine, which also created the top border swag.  i cut out the cat, the letters and the stacked boxes and used matte medium to secure them to the envelope.  i then added marker to make them blend into the background seamlessly.  there is something really meditative to me about detail cutting.  this was a fun challange.
If you would like to join in on the fun you can find all about the details by clicking the above link.  If you play you will have a chance to win a $30.00 gift certificate towards Stampotique stamps, and really, who couldn't use more stamps?!
