another transportation postcard
well i had to make another postcard to take the place of the last one for the postcard trade i'm doing. i quite like this one, too, which normally the things i make i don't get attached to, they are just part of creating. i want to keep this one, too, but i won't. i wonder why we get in those moods where we feel like hoarding everything for ourselves. i know that deep down inside i would actually prefer to share but sometimes i just can't do it no matter how hard i try.

Well it's just lovely... and I would be more than pleased to help you ease the pain of separation if you'd like to send it up here!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Roc, sometimes I just want to keep it, especially if it was a fun project and made me smile!
ReplyDeleteHi Roc, WOW these are great. I work in transportation with buses. Do you have a bus one developing? That would be great to see. Thanx, you are very talented. Sharon
ReplyDeleteHey Rocken Roc, I can see why ya don't want to let your cards go their gorgous and if I could do cards like that you bet ya I would hang on to them too!!!! So far nothing I have created has needed to stay with me something to stive for I guess.

Ha! I'm my biggeest fan of my work, and not ashamed to say it. When I feel down, I look at my artwork, especially my paintings and feel really good. I just recently got involved in an art swap (ACEO) at Creative Soul and would love to do more of this type of thing. Any information anyone could pass my way?
ReplyDeletelove the postcard......
You have it wrong, you do share a lot!
ReplyDeleteOk, if you figure out the logic behind why you want to hoard your creations, let me know! I want to publish my collages to sell on Etsy, but then I have a "but, but, but... I want to keep it" reaction. No idea why that is.
ReplyDeleteAwesome postcard Roc!! I love her wild hair blowing around!
