If I do see it, it's very clever! I think you've used the top part of the small letter b in Be Grateful upside down as the bottom part of the letter i in this project! Am I right? :)
you are right valerie! i just added my own circle for the top part of the "i" but the base of it is part of the letter be in my just be grateful stamp. good eye! make sure i have your address!

stampotique time PLUS a give away
it's monday again and time to post my project for the stampotique blog. i have been a sewing frenzy lately. there is something about stitching that i adore.
i used a few stamps for this. one of the obvious stamps i used is my stacked love stamp. i hand cut out each letter so i could put it in a straight line. i love to cut small things out. it's like therapy for me. another obvious stamp is the flying heart stamp on the background.
one stamp in particular i used only a part of it in the most unusual fashion. can you spot it? if you do guess right i'll send you the envelope. if there is more than one correct answer i'll do a random name draw.
so hurry up and leave your guess and i'll tell you the answer on march 30th. only one guess per person, please. good luck!

give away and stampotique design team time
it's that time once again, to post over at the stampotique designer's
blog. i have made an altered envelope to give away. details will follow below.
to make the envelope i used quite a number of my rubber stamps. they are: artiste block, flying heart, stacked boxes and scooter girl.
i was really pleased how using the bottom of the flying heart made a pennant-like border on the top of the envelope. i'll be using that again in the future.
if you'd like to receive this envelope in the mail, all you have to do is leave a comment. make sure i will have a way to get a hold of you. sometimes there are no emails attached to comments. if that happens i will just pick another lucky winner by random. the drawing will be march 23rd. thanks and good luck!

documented life project - week 10
the prompt for week 10 at the documented life project was - what makes you "you". there are so many things that make me who i am. after thinking about this for a while i realize that the person i am today is molded by so many facets of my life; god, my husband, my family, my friends and my creative journey.

stampotique designer blog post
i'm back, so it must be monday. today my post is a journal page i made. i used my just be u rubber stamp and stamped it on scraps of painted magazine paper and cut out the letters. i colored them in with paint markers and glued them on top of the stamped image on the journal page background.
to create the valance on the top i used the scalloped lace border. i stamped the border on patterned scrap paper and cut it out, leaving off the frilly part. i attached it to the journal background page and then hand drew in frills and colored them in with white gel pen. i added doodles and paper scraps for the ground. i drew a stick under the u to make it seem like a bird perch.
remember - there is no one else like you - so i hope you are enjoying being you this year!

roc nicholas design team posting
here is a roc nicholas rubber stamp design team posting by corrie. look how clever she was in using my bird lady and changing it up. not to mention how she used the stacked cups and make a matching hat for her dress! notice, too, my rubber stamp called flying heart in the background and the bird is from the just b u rubber stamp i created. what a great job corrie did. you can see more about this on corrie's blog.
