to create the valance on the top i used the scalloped lace border. i stamped the border on patterned scrap paper and cut it out, leaving off the frilly part. i attached it to the journal background page and then hand drew in frills and colored them in with white gel pen. i added doodles and paper scraps for the ground. i drew a stick under the u to make it seem like a bird perch.

Great colourful page, I like the way you have modified and enhanced how the stamps are used, it's very creative.
